How To Order

To order a product you must first add them to your basket as you are searching or browsing the catalogue.

Clicking the 'Add to Basket' button next to each stock does this. 

Each item description will be added to your basket, and will be displayed under the heading 'Shopping basket'' on the right hand side of the page along with the number of items, delivery, total price, including UK VAT.

To add more products continue searching or browsing.

Viewing or Editing You Shopping Basket

To see a detailed view of your shopping basket click on the 'Display Shopping Basket' link in the right hand navigation bar.

To remove an item click on the delete button on the right hand side, after the total price column. The cost of your order is recalculated automatically.

Completing Your Order

Once you have selected all your items, click on 'Shopping basket '; select from the drop down menu  your delivery choice and payment method.  Both drop down menus are in the middle of the shopping basket.

You will be asked to pay via Credit/Debit card, request we take payment over the phone,  or via email payment i.e. Google or Paypal.

Click on the next button on the bottom right hand side, where we will need contact details, and a delivery address.  This information is never passed onto third parties. You will then be transferred to a secure page where payment will be taken. We do not store any of this sensitive information, these are managed by our Secure Payment Provider.

For your own security, the name, address and delivery address you enter must match your credit card billing address.  Your 3-digit security (CSC) number on the reverse of your credit card is required for all payments taken over the phone.  It is a mandatory requirement to provide this code when the cardholder is not present in person. Orders may be delayed or refused if we cannot verify this information.

You will receive an email confirming your order.  You will receive e-mail the day your order is dispatched confirming that it has been posted.

Payment Methods


We use Google Wallet & Paypal for all order transactions, as we believe it to be one of the safest and most secure payment systems currently available. All Credit Card transactions are either handled by a third party or on a secure server using a minimum of SSL/128-bit encryption.

As part of processing you will be transferred to their fully secured site whilst they interface with your bank. All your details are kept on that site and are not accessed by us at all thus minimising unauthorised access to your details.

If you prefer, we do accept payment for orders over the telephone, all major cards are accepted including American Express.

How To Order

We have tried to make purchasing online with Candle and Blue as easy as possible. If you prefer to order over the phone, or are experiencing difficulties then do not hesitate to contact us either by e-mailing info@candleandblue.co.uk or telephoning 01284 765522 (Please note that this call can be recorded for security and training purposes). 

Delivery Information 
For orders there will be a standard charge of £2.50 within the UK. Certain postcodes are excluded, see below.

International Delivery is charged at £15.00 for 1 box under 10kg within the EU. We are unable to post certain items. Please email us if you are unsure, or would like to confirm a delivery charge outside the EU.


All orders received will be dispatched on the next working day subject to availability. We are unable to send orders to PO Box addresses. Delivery is normally between 2-5 days. During the Christmas period, please allow 4-6 days for delivery. In the event of any items being out of stock we will inform you and give you an estimated delivery date. Goods will be delivered through Royal Mail. We also offer the option to use a courier service for a next day delivery service. The charge for this service is £7.99. Please bear in mind that a signature will be required on delivery.

Delivery will be to a UK address only.  Please note delivery to Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands and Islands are excluded from this price. Postcodes excluded from these services include: IV, KW, ZE, BT, PH19-PH44, PA20-PA29, KA23-KA28. Please call for a delivery price if you would like to enquire if we are able to deliver to these addresses. All goods must be signed for by an adult aged 18 years or over, and if no one is available at the address at the time of delivery, the driver will retain the goods.

The delivery company will leave notification of the attempt to deliver. A further two attempts to deliver will be made but thereafter the goods will be returned to us.

Please note that delivery can take place any time up to 5.30 p.m., we are unable to offer timed deliveries.

Returns, Exchanges and Faulty Goods Policy

This cancelation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault, for example, if goods are faulty or not as described.

Cancelling Your Order

You can cancel your contract before delivery, and up to 7 working days after delivery.  To do this, please e-mail (see contact details below) us or write to us.

We will refund your money, including delivery charges if you cancel your order before receipt of goods. Orders cancelled after receipt of goods will be refunded within 30 days.

It is always advisable to obtain a proof of postage certificate, as you will be responsible for the item or items until they reach us. We advise taking out postal insurance to cover the cost of the items value.

Damaged or Faulty Goods

If goods are damaged or lost in transit please notify us immediately by telephoning our Customer Support Department on 01284 765522. A customer advisor will be able to take your call Monday to Friday from 9.00am until 5.00pm. Please note that this call can be recorded for security and training purposes. If you return an item to us that are faulty, which you did not order, or for any other reason that is our fault, we will also pay for the cost of the return postage (up to a maximum of the amount you originally paid when ordering from us). No other costs are considered. If this happens, please contact us first and we will let you know how you should send the item to us.

Please have your order confirmation number available at the time of telephoning. We will offer you the choice of a replacement or refund.  Any refunds given will be made to your credit card account. Under no circumstances will a cheque, credit note or cash be issued by way of refund.

We want you to be delighted with your order and the service you receive from Candle and Blue. However, for your extra peace of mind all purchases are covered by our 14-day exchange or refund promise. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase you can return your order, in full or part, and we will refund the full cost (We do not offer a free returns service.) or, if you prefer, provide an exchange of equal value.

To receive a refund or exchange, email us at info@candleandblue in the first instance stating your order number, name and contact details and whether you would like a refund or exchange. Then simply return the goods to us, in their original condition including tags and packaging, within 14 working days of receipt.

It is always advisable to obtain a proof of postage certificate, as you will be responsible for the item or items until they reach us. We advise taking out postal insurance to cover the cost of the items value.

All breakages need to be notified within 2 days of receipt. We are unable to issue refunds or replacements after this time.
